MTech in the Community

When you walk into the office of one of our employees, you will see a copy of “Clifford the Big Red Dog” on his bookshelf; this was a gift from a child he met at the Tennyson Center for Abused Children. After discussing the book over a BBQ lunch consisting of a hot dog and juice box, the child suggested our employee take the book home and read it. We were there to give these special kids a fun afternoon, but it would be hard to tell who had a better day.

 

We have found that when we give back to our community, we get a lot more in return. They say most people would help others in need; if only someone asked. At MTech, we decided to ask. We formed a Community Service Committee that creates opportunities for MTech employees and their families to take part in benefitting their community by donating time or goods. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, we have been able to make a difference in many lives and we look forward to continuing the good will.
